Working with a 24" sink cabinet in a condo, a cottage kitchen or a laundry room? Most sinks that fit a cabinet that narrow feel shallow and cramped. The Franke Cube CUX11019 gives you an 18" wide, 9" deep bowl, so a dinner plate lies flat and a large pot can be filled without tilting.

The near-square corners are the reason the bowl feels bigger than its numbers: there is more usable floor right into the corners than a rounded sink of the same outside size. And because the drain sits at the back, the space under the sink stays usable for a small disposal or storage.

Built from 18 gauge stainless with Franke's brushed Pearl finish and sound-deadening pads, it is a compact sink that does not feel like a compromise.

Will it work in a laundry or utility room?

Yes. The deep bowl handles soaking and hand-washing well, and stainless is easy to keep clean. Just confirm you have a solid countertop for an undermount installation.

Is there a matching grid?

Yes. Franke makes a fitted stainless bottom grid for this sink, model CU19-36S.

Can I install it with a laminate countertop?

No. Undermount sinks need a solid countertop, such as granite, quartz, marble or solid surface, because the sink hangs from the underside of the counter and the cut edge stays exposed. Your fabricator cuts the opening using the template on the spec sheet.
