Choosing one large bowl instead of two smaller ones is what makes this size so useful: big trays and pots go in flat, and a bottom grid keeps them off the floor of the sink while they soak. The Cube's squared corners and flat floor give you more working room than a rounded bowl of the same outside size.

It is 18 gauge stainless with Franke's brushed Pearl finish, with sound-dampening pads and undercoating to keep it quiet.

Will a large roasting pan fit?

Most large roasting pans are around 16" x 13", which fits flat with plenty of room to spare in this 27" x 16.12" bowl.

Is there a matching grid?

Yes. The Franke CU27-36S grid is made for this sink.

Can I install it with a laminate countertop?

No. Undermount sinks need a solid countertop, such as granite, quartz, marble or solid surface, because the sink hangs from the underside of the counter and the cut edge stays exposed. Your fabricator cuts the opening using the template on the spec sheet.
