Why Fireclay Works at a Bar
Fireclay is clay that's shaped by hand, glazed and fired at a very high temperature, which leaves a hard, glassy surface that doesn't soak up stains, holds up to hot pans and wipes clean with dish soap. Because each sink is handmade in Italy, no two are exactly alike, and the measurements can vary slightly from one to the next.
At a bar, that means red wine, coffee and citrus rinse away instead of leaving marks, and the glaze won't dull the way some composite sinks can.
Size and Fit
The sink measures about 19-5/8" wide, 16-1/4" front to back and 8-5/8" tall, with a bowl around 8" deep. That's deep enough to fill a pitcher or rinse a cocktail shaker without splashing. It needs a cabinet at least 24" wide.
It's a drop-in sink, so the rim sits on top of the counter. That makes it a good choice for laminate or butcher block counters, and for replacing an old topmount bar sink. A faucet hole is already in the deck, so you'll want a single-hole bar faucet.

Common Questions Answered
Is the black finish as durable as the white?
Yes. The black is a matte glaze fired onto the same fireclay body. Matte finishes can show hard-water spots more than gloss, so a quick wipe after use keeps it looking even.
Can this bar sink be undermounted?
It's designed as a drop-in, with the faucet hole in the sink deck. If you want an undermount bar sink, call us and we'll suggest one.
Will a garbage disposal fit?
The 3-1/2" drain opening takes a standard disposal flange, but in a 24" cabinet a compact disposal is the best fit.
