A Compact White Fireclay Sink for a 30-Inch Cabinet

Why Fireclay
Fireclay is clay that's shaped by hand, glazed and fired at a very high temperature, which leaves a hard, glassy surface that doesn't soak up stains, holds up to hot pans and wipes clean with dish soap. Because each sink is handmade in Italy, no two are exactly alike, and the measurements can vary slightly from one to the next.
Size and Fit
The sink is 26-1/2" wide, 19" front to back and 11" tall, with a bowl about 9-1/8" deep, so it handles big pots. The drain sits toward the back of the bowl, which keeps it out from under the dishes and leaves more room in the cabinet below. It needs a 30" cabinet.
It can go under a stone or solid-surface counter, or drop in from above. There are no faucet holes, so the faucet goes in the counter. A matching stainless steel bottom grid is available from Latoscana.

Before You Buy
- Minimum cabinet width is 30".
- There are no faucet holes. Plan for a counter-mounted faucet.
- The 3-1/2" drain sits at the back. Strainer, disposal and grid (SSG-LUM2719) are sold separately.
- Wait until the sink arrives before your countertop is cut. Fireclay is handmade, so measure the actual sink and make the template from it.

Is 27 inches big enough for a main kitchen sink?
For most smaller kitchens, yes. The bowl is over 9 inches deep, so stockpots and sheet pans fit, and one open bowl is more useful than a small double.
Can it be installed with laminate counters?
Undermounting needs a solid counter like stone or quartz. With laminate, it can be installed as a drop-in instead.
Is there a larger size?
Yes, the LUM3019W is the same sink at 29-1/2" wide for a 33" cabinet.
