An Italian Fireclay Double Bowl Sink for a Standard 36-Inch Cabinet
If you like washing in one bowl and rinsing in the other, this is a lovely way to do it in fireclay. The Latoscana PO033D21 is a 33-inch double bowl sink that sits in a regular 36-inch base cabinet, so you don't need a farmhouse cabinet or an apron front. Choose gloss white (PO033D2101W) or matte black (PO033D2152B).
Why Fireclay
Fireclay is clay that's shaped by hand, glazed and fired at a very high temperature, which leaves a hard, glassy surface that doesn't soak up stains, holds up to hot pans and wipes clean with dish soap. Because each sink is handmade in Italy, no two are exactly alike, and the measurements can vary slightly from one to the next.
Size and Fit
Overall it measures about 33-7/8" wide, 20" front to back and 8-5/8" tall, with bowls around 8" deep. Each bowl has its own 3-1/2" drain, so you can put a disposal on one side and a basket strainer on the other.
Latoscana makes it for under-counter or deck (drop-in) mounting. A drop-in is the easier choice if you're replacing an old topmount sink without new counters. There are no faucet holes in the sink, so the faucet mounts in the counter.

Common Questions Answered
Double bowl or one big bowl?
A double bowl is great if you hand-wash dishes, or if you like a clean side for rinsing produce while the other side soaks. If you mostly cook with big sheet pans or stockpots, our 30" single bowl in the same series may suit you better.
Is the matte black finish hard to care for?
Not really. Wipe it with a soft cloth and dish soap, and dry it now and then if you have hard water. Avoid abrasive powders, which can dull a matte glaze.
Can I undermount it with a stone counter?
Yes. Latoscana lists it for under-counter mounting. Your fabricator will want the actual sink on site to make the template.
