Nantucket 30" Matte Black Fireclay Kitchen Sink with Drain and Grid - Orleans3018-MB

Matte Black Italian Fireclay from the Orleans Collection

The Nantucket Orleans3018-MB is a 30" x 18" fireclay sink made in Italy and finished in a striking matte black. Its 9" deep single bowl is equally at home in a kitchen or a laundry room, and it can be installed undermount or as a drop-in to suit your countertop. A drain and bottom grid are included.

A Glazed Surface That's Easy to Keep Clean

Fireclay is fired at high temperature, fusing the glaze to the clay for a hard, non-porous surface. Nantucket notes that the glazed surface inhibits bacterial growth better than stainless steel and needs fewer cleansers to keep clean. The 27.75" x 17" basin gives generous room for washing, soaking and rinsing, and the 3.5" drain opening fits standard kitchen drains and disposals.

Common Questions Answered

Can I use this sink in a laundry room?

Yes. The 9" deep bowl and durable glazed fireclay make the Orleans3018-MB well suited to laundry rooms and utility spaces as well as kitchens. It has no faucet hole, so plan for a deck-mounted or wall-mounted faucet.

What cabinet does this sink need?

Nantucket recommends a minimum 33" cabinet. Fireclay is heavy, so the cabinet must be built to support the sink's weight. Have your cabinetmaker work from the specification sheet before fabrication.
