Nantucket 34" Matte Black Fireclay Kitchen Sink with Grid and Drain - Wellfleet-3419MatteBlack

A 34" Matte Black Fireclay Sink

The Nantucket Wellfleet-3419MatteBlack from the Cape Collection is a 34" single bowl fireclay kitchen sink in a matte black porcelain enamel glaze. It can be undermounted or installed as a drop-in, and the top edge is glazed in matte black too, so it can be reveal-mounted with the rim showing.

Offset Drain for More Cabinet Space

The side-set drain frees up space under the sink for a disposal, filter or storage, and the sink can be turned so the drain sits on either side. The large 31.75" x 16" bowl slopes and tapers toward the drain. A protective bottom grid with soft feet and bumpers and a basket strainer drain are included.

Common Questions Answered

What is reveal mounting?

Reveal mounting is an undermount installation where the countertop is cut slightly larger than the sink opening, so a narrow strip of the sink's glazed rim shows. Because this sink's top edge is fully glazed, it looks finished from above.

What do I need to install it?

Fireclay is heavy and needs a support cradle or structure; mounting hardware is not included. Nantucket recommends a 36" cabinet and professional installation. If you use a drain other than the included one, an extended flange may be needed because of the fireclay's thickness.
