The RVA1052 is an extended garbage disposal flange from Ruvati, available in Brushed Gold, Gunmetal Black, and Stainless Steel. The extended depth is the defining feature — it is designed to fit both standard stainless steel sinks and extra-thick fireclay or ceramic sinks up to 2" in thickness, where a standard-depth flange would not seat correctly. The deep basket strainer sits inside the flange and catches large food debris before it reaches the disposal, protecting the unit from damage and reducing drain clogs. The basket includes a handle for easy removal and emptying. A matching stopper lid is included for plugging the drain when filling the sink. Extended mounting screws are included for installation on stainless steel sinks. Compatible with all InSinkErator brand garbage disposal units. Fits standard 3.5" drain openings.

Finish and Construction Details

All three finishes are constructed from 304-grade stainless steel. The Brushed Gold and Gunmetal Black variants use a nano-PVD coating process that bonds the finish to the metal at a molecular level, providing durability and resistance to tarnishing. A standard flange is sized for the typical thickness of a stainless steel sink, which is usually under 1". Fireclay and ceramic sinks are significantly thicker — often 1-1/2" to 2" — and a standard flange will not extend far enough through the sink wall to mount correctly to the disposal below. The RVA1052's extended depth accommodates sink walls up to 2" thick, allowing it to seat flush on the sink surface while still connecting to the disposal mounting assembly underneath. It is compatible with all InSinkErator brand disposal models.
