Are Black Sinks Still in Style?
Yes. Lots of people still buy black sinks. What's changing is the finish. Some brands are discontinuing gloss black fireclay and replacing it with matte black, a modern take on a traditional sink.
Clare's tip: I don't think I'd buy a black fireclay sink myself, but if I did, it would be matte black. I'd pair it with a black faucet, white cabinets and a Carrara marble or plain white countertop.
Which Material Is Best for a Black Sink?
Black Stainless Steel
Black stainless steel sinks are regular stainless steel with a colored finish bonded to the surface. The quality of that finish is everything.
